Nancy will need extra ibuprofen for the above action. Thankfully, big pharma has paid her well for her and her colleagues inaction.

The moment Nancy Pelosi throws down her walker and actually protests- it’s game over. Until then: it’s up to you. Pop off.

I typed out 2 large paragraphs and realized I’d have to type 3 more to truly get my point across and then I realized I’m not here to sway your opinion, and I don’t think you could be swayed or this would even be productive unless we spoke over voice because this is the kind of conversation that is incredibly annoying to have over text.

Anyway you’re welcome to disagree. I think you’re wrong, you think I’m wrong, that’s totally fine. At the end of the day we would both be fighting on the same side if it ever came down to it.

I disagree with your thesis, but (for the sake of argument) let’s just say you’re right. In which case, I would ask the following. If the majority of voters elected politicians who supported “conservative” policies, how would politicians supporting liberal policies get those voters to elect them instead? Further, wouldn’t that risk alienating swing voters, and left-leaning moderates?

They are all Republicans with like maybe a handful of exceptions.

The Overton window has shifted to the point where America’s 2 parties are fascism vs neocons. Where the democrats takeaway from their abysmal failure in the last election was “actually we weren’t right wing enough”.

Thats why they won’t actually do anything to stop this. That’s why they aren’t throwing smoke bombs and rioting like in Serbia or forcefully gaining entry to their institutions to stop Doge and the like, like Korea.

At the end of the day they make their money from the same donors and the same insider trading as trump and the Republicans and at the end of the day and I can’t say this with enough emphasis and venom, They DO NOT give a FUCK about YOU. If any of them gave a single fuck and had more spine than a jellyfish they would have been climbing over their fucking seats 4 weeks ago. They are complicit in what’s happening and don’t ever forget or forgive them for it.

The entire system needs to go and them with it. We will not save our country from what’s happening by holding signs and I don’t think we have long until the masses figure that out and start lighting fires.

Seriously. There’s arguably more to be pissed at the Democratic party as there is GOP. I keep only seeing highly diplomatic burns. The days where that’s all that is needed are over

It’s shit like this that makes me wish John Lewis was still kicking. He would have been right there with Al Green, making good trouble and teaching everyone else in the party how it’s done. Apparently, the dinosaurs running the party learned nothing from him. What a damn shame.

This is why “peaceful” protests don’t work

You get a permit to protest where they tell you, when they tell, for how long, and disperse when told

It is tacit approval of a broken and corrupt system and the power it has

If the protest/action isn’t disruptive, targeted, large, and prolonged it won’t do a thing
