This is a great reason to grow those places here, though. My biggest issue with game specific communities is the fact that the game companies try to control them. Most subreddits are moderated by the game companies, and official discords are a lost cause. We really need a neutral, public place to be to talk about games where we are allowed to actually be critical of them
That seems like a really important community to have here
So who is Canada replacing him with, and will the new one bend the knee or continue to fight?
Really? Where can I find this
In that case, how long til some open source project uses it to make a custom firmware to bypass the manufacturer bs and integrate my cheap IoTs seamlessly into Home assistant?
Shockingly good news from a media corp. Paramount would just steal your discs and tell you to pound sand
Nah there will be windows XP machines still in service propping up random industry infrastructure 1000 years from now, I guarantee it
Bend your knees 🤙
Makes sense. It’s hard to really rally around something you aren’t interested in. It’s a lack of belief, after all. Though some kind of religious trauma support group would have definitely been valuable to me in the deep South.
I think this is the key to natural growth. Especially as more mainstream sites move to login required, and more and more search results are AI slop. Lemmy could be the last open and search indexable platforms left soon
Some of you never opened Telegram’s “local” section, and it shows.
It’s all just sex and drugs
I’m not an iOS user, but I checked the app store website and I can see several apps. Voyager, mlem, Arctic, Thunder, Avelon, Echo to name a few.
Not sure what you mean by ‘only apk’, every android app is an apk. That’s what the play store distributes too. But yes, there are several options on Google Play as well. Voyager, Sync, Connect, Boost, Summit, Eternity, Thunder, Jerboa, Raccoon, etc.
I personally have tried more than half of those, and every one has some design aspects that I dislike, but I settled on Voyager for now. Still hoping that the Rif developer ports their old reddit app
I’m also using Voyager on android. There are other apps, like Sync if you had used it for reddit. There are dozens of apps and instances you can use, so if there’s ever anything you don’t like, you can probably find an alternative.
Which app do you like? There are many
I’m in the deep south. I’d be hard pressed to find a local business that isn’t a Trump supporter.
