But I’m going to bow out of this. You don’t seem capable of self reflection

Reading through this page, you certainly don’t seem wrong at all, but on the other hand, it may be a language issue.

I’ve had your same experience on here so many times. A relatively harmless, perhaps humorous, good natured little comment, only to have someone else to project their self righteous, bullshit assumptions into what wasn’t even said. It’s weird when people ignorantly assume you support values that you clearly don’t.

“Get a college degree and the world will be your oyster”

“Put in those extra hours/days/years, do more than the people around you, and it will payoff”

Yep, but it’s The New York Post, so to have something other than awful people commenting would be out of character.
