I don’t really trust large companies in general if we’re gonna be completely honest. This political situation is just making that mistrust worse.

See… I’d genuinely like to believe you, but you highly overestimate just how aware the average American is about the situation. Pretty much everybody outside the US gets it though.

Well… that’s just going to be most American sites going forward. That’s why ultimately platforms like Lemmy are so important. What a lot of people here in the States don’t realize is that this is a war on information.
