So the real headline is “Global west is okay with homosexuality. Everyone else still hates us”.
I noticed Edge would only show me corporate/authority friendly results recently as well oddly cutting down the number of results I see to a very unnaturally short amount of results.
Deleting it and moving to DuckDuckGo which while the corporate friendly things were still at the top, it at least showed me some opposition results.
Issues:
Trans people allowed to exist
Brown people allowed to exist
Poor people not paying enough taxes to support the rich

I just got yelled at for being proactive at work and working on stuff in my downtime to complete something before our estimate and improve our product. Apparently that’s a big no-no. You’re not supposed to ever finish before the estimate you give nor finish past the estimate. You must work the exact amount of time that was estimated. This wasn’t even my estimate. I have a much faster estimate and my boss basically doubled it, which I was like fine, sure, but I’m getting blamed for the estimate being so long now.
I’m so done with my job. If the job market weren’t a literal dumpster fire right now I’d just leave. I just set my LinkedIn to “Open to Work”. Sorry I have a good work ethic. Corporate politics is utter bullshit. I guess the lesson learned is don’t ever tell anyone you are being proactive. Finish the work, and then literally do fuck all, and fuck off to wherever while you pretend you are working until the estimate date is reached.
You’re assuming anybody outside of Lemmy even knows about this. I haven’t seen any indication of that.

That’s because blue moderates are far more highly palatable to the majority of Americans than hard leftists. The hard thing to confront is that despite how it feels on Lemmy you guys aren’t a voting bloc worth pursuing.
