I agree, I don’t want my browser provider to collect any data on me at all, but if they absolutely must gather the absolute minimum system analytics stats or such they should NEVER pass it to a third party for ANY reason.
You make a desktop browser application, that’s your job, to provide a portal to the world wide web, nothing more. Stay within your bounds and we’ll never have any problem.

Yes you’re right, the government should absolutely make child rape jokes, if people get angry about it you should just ignore them. Of course. That’s just wise government policy, it shows how highly respectable those in the government are.
I see a lot of this sort of news lately and I’m not quite sure what to make of it.
Like, does Russia have only a few of these big depots and thus destroying so many lately is incredibly impressive, or do they have hundreds and hundreds, in which case it’s not quite as impactful?
You’re saying if the workers at that company wish to raise an issue as a group, like holiday hours, pension plans, or clothing policy changes, they should simply… murder their boss?
Seems a little extreme, no?
I don’t think it needs to be hidden or anything, but consider your “before the fold” content, it’s what is most important on a web page and what will grab users in the 2-3 seconds you have to capture their attention before many will click off.
Currently on your site I have to scroll down quite a bit beyond the fold to get to the actual website on my phone, as the top section is taken up by very large text superfluous to the main content.
I know it sucks to have to build for that sort of user, but it’s a large chunk of users, and the rest are just putting up with the inconvenience haha :-)
