  • Just because you make an argument, doesn’t make it true

    Mate…

I “made an arguement” that it wasn’t just Nazis that did this …

And used an example of people who were not Nazis doing it to show that …

And you accused me of saying both groups are the same.

    After I literally said:

Obviously the people saying “Luigi was right” and the Nazis are different.

You felt the need to say almost verbatim the same thing back to me like it was something I didn’t know.

There’s not an easier way to explain this, I’m sorry but I’m not helping you anymore.

  • It’s insane to me

    How?

This isn’t the first time, won’t be the last time.

It’s not even a Nazi thing, it’s a human thing.

Reddit said you can’t say “Luigi had a good idea” so idiots try to find the furtherest they can take it without repurcussions, and when they face repurcossions they screech that their free speech was violated because they were dog whistling to advocate for murder

So people get banned from reddit for it, and come here and they’re *still stuck on trying to find the line in every situation so they can put their toes on and screech “freeze speech” like teenagers playing the penis game.

Obviously the people saying “Luigi was right” and the Nazis are different.

But it’s the exact same human instinct to push boundaries and see what they can get away with, then claim innocence when faced with consequences. Little kids do it constantly, and with our education system lacking on critical thinking since No Child Left Behind, people aren’t learning the critical thinking to internally make the call on what’s ok, they just try shit and see if there’s negative consequences. That’s all that matters: can I get away with saying this.

We just saw it on a national stage where trump kept talking about tarrifs on Canada, he wanted them to engage in a bad faith conversation about fentanyl while his tarrifs were active and free of consequences. Instead Trudeau finally ovaried up and hit back with retaliatory tariffs.

trump got consequences and he’ll stop. But if there wasn’t he’d have kept pushing it.

  • Okay, and? I fail to see the part where another country’s welfare is your problem, Israel

    It’s a lie…

They do not have food because even under Biden aid was cut off for bullshit reasons.

Even after everyone found out that what Bibi said about UNRWA was bullshit propaganda, Biden and the majority of both parties just ignored it and never reinstated aid.

Like, you’re operating under the assumption that everyone isnt just fucking lying about shit because no one holds them accountable.

Hell, it’s almost a certainty at least one person will get mad I pointed Biden and Dems are fucking up too

But if both groups of voters refuse to hold their own accountable, the result is no politicians is ever held accountable again.

  • I hate people can even try to blame AI.

If I typo a couple extra zeroes because my laptop sucks, that doesn’t mean I didn’t fuck up. I fucked up because of a tool I was using, but I was still the human using that tool.

    This is no different.

If a lawyer submits something to court that is fraudulent I don’t give a shit if he wrote it on a notepad or told the AI on his phone browser to do it.

    He submitted it.

Start yanking law licenses and these lawyers will start re-evaluating if AI means they can fire all their human assistants and take on even more cases.

Stop acting like this shit is autonomous tools that strip responsibility from decisions, that’s literally how Elmo is about to literally dismantle our federal government.

And they’re 100% gonna blame the AI too.

I’m honestly surprised they haven’t claimed DOGE is run by AI yet

  • seem to ask questions so obvious that I am curious if it’s designed to test AI responses and use upvotes to score the results.

Everyone views their own intelligence as “average” even if they consciousnessly know it’s significantly higher/lower than average, we’re our own frame of reference.

So for some people AI seems just as smart as an average person, those people are really hyped for AI.

Other people think AI is shite, but are starting to doubt if something is AI or just an idiot.

I know there’re a lot of dipshits out there but are there so many that those posts routinely reach the front page multiple times a day?

    It’s how bell curves work.

As more and more people leave reddit because it’s shit, the people making it shit don’t notice and become a greater percentage of users. So it gets shittier and a new group realizes and leaves.

It’s how social media circles the drain, Facebook and Twitter are examples of where it’s headed.

When it adjusts to the new lowest common denominator, that makes people leave, and lowers the denominator.

    Really?

So the reason they tried to start a national movement to vote Republican when it was Obama…

That wasn’t the progressive policy he was campaigning on?

I thought that’s what it was, if not, why do you think a bunch of boomer “moderates” just could stomach voting for Barrak Obama?

What charestic besides policy stances do you think made them go Republican, assuming you’re right they’d have voted for Bernie.

The truth is, if Bernie was the candidate we wouldn’t have needed them, just like we didn’t need them for Obama

  • As far as I can tell there’s just this one dolphin who’s been seen doing it.

I mean, how many do you need?

It’s not exactly an ethical study to go around plugging blowholes and seeing how many live…

In the example of one who could, it appears the dolphin had a narrow blowhole (reminiscent of Hank Hill’s urethra).

But just like Hank could still pee, the dolphin could still breathe somewhat thru the narrow blowhole as evident by the barely noticable water spout.

That would have resulted in the dolphin surfaces more and for longer times, which probably gave him the opportunity to learn how to breathe thru its mouth.

Maybe not all can do it.

Not all humans can close off their nasal passage, that’s why some people have to wear nose plugs when swimming.

I have to pop my ears all the time, because of that I can close my nasal or throat passage on control, other people learn to do it for other activities…

But every single dolphin could be capable, just no reason to learn.

And in the (at most) 5 minutes it would take a dolphin to suffocate from a fucking eel clogging it’s blowhole just ain’t always enough time.

We have no idea how often it happens and the dolphin lives, or dies.

We do t have enough data to be making hard claims, and no one is torturing enough dolphins to find out.

  • Nah, after probation it’s pretty much impossible.

There needs to be like a year of documentation that the employee is just not doing their job.

    Because of the union.

That’s why there’s this big push to resign, every tool they have to reduce the federal workforce begins with the word “voluntary”. Probate employees and contracts have reason to be nervous tho.

Even closing USAID, it stops the work they’re doing, but they’re all gonna get huge severance checks or settlements if it really closes. It’s not like the private sector where it’s individuals fighting a billion dollar corparion. It’s multiple unions that are individually some of the largest in the country whose only reason for existence is knowing an incredibly confusing system of decades of regulations…

Versus a couple teenager and college drop out techbros with zero idea what they’re doing.
