Seriously, you don’t need to know all of this shit every day. I do a weekly catch up on Saturday and indont think I’ve ever missed anything important. If anything some times gives news to clear up.

Nam ngiao is a cotton flower and noodle soup from north Thailand and it’s the best thai dish you’ve never heard of!

It uses dried cotton flower, beef or pork broth, a bit of tomatoes and of course a combination of thai spices.

It’s an incredible mix of the golden triangle cultures (Thailand, Burma, Laos, Yunan China) and whenever I go there I do a little Nam ngiao tour as it’s a bit lole with Japanese ramen - every shop as their own recipe and flavor.

Again, I think for gaming it’s a great service. My pain point is that discord grew itself in all directions clearly just for higher valuation.

Disagree, it was fine when all it did was gaming parties but everything else from shitty UX, to rampant bots, to barely working functionalities. It’s so bloated it cant keep up. Also it’s proprietary, unencrypted and frankly just overall bad piece of software for anything but gaming.

Its fully localized in any language they’re exporting too.

Those are not mutually exclusive. The ux is incredibly dangerous especially here in sunny and wet south east asia where China is exporting a lot of cars now. Many accidents are making the news where the driver didn’t see something cause they’re fucking with the stupid controls instead of driving.

We don’t allow smart phone use while driving but somehow giant tablet in the middle of the car is ok.

I have driven byd and some other Chinese brands and it’s a really great experience minus the shitty touch screen UX. That being said I wouldn’t trust China to run my car ever. Everything is locked down and it absolutely spies on you. I wouldn’t trust my life with that to save a bit of money.

Just buying a 2nd hand ice vehicle is better for you and the environment if you’re looking for a affordable option.

Honestly I’m quite happy with “social justice warrior” approach. Sure it’s flawed and weak to manipulation for now but as a strategy for society to self correct its quite brilliant.

I’m optimistic society itself should be able to correct itself for this issue as well though considering the current climate the correction might be very chaotic.
