Anyway, a significant portion of my “experience” with the cheapskates was the accumulation of bad habits since there was nobody else around for me to learn from. I would have benefitted much more from starting my career in a more professional environment with available experts.
The last time I was looking to move companies, I actually contacted a recruiter with whom I’d been in touch before because I recalled how competent she was. The new company she was with had just happened to have started hiring in the city I was in, and very soon extended a great offer. I now have the pleasure of sending candidates her way from time to time.
