“Pleasant” in the context of what it would be otherwise. My understanding is that, without the emulsifier, it would be crumbly and kinda chalky, and not hold a form very well.

I didn’t say it was cheddar. I said it was made from cheddar. It’s decidedly not cheddar, which is why it’s not called “cheddar”.

Just wanted to say that the hate on American cheese is unjustified. American cheese is just cheddar that has been heated to 170f (iirc) for long enough to kill bacteria and make it shelf-stable. They add an emulsifier (again, iirc) to help it bind better and have a more pleasant texture.

All other criticisms of America are valid, but the cheese doesn’t deserve the hate it gets.

Until the brave masses start slaughtering the “elite” we’re doomed to plod through the current status quo, which, to paraphrase Dr. Horrible, is absolutely NOT quo.

If you’re aiming towards fully autonomous vehicles, having the vehicles know precisely where they are, as well as the knowing where the vehicles around them are, is key to avoiding accidents as well as for more efficient traffic flow.

Not saying the aren’t privacy concerns and all that goes along with it. Just pointing out that there are some legitimate cases that rely on the same technology backbone.

Fines as penalties are solely to keep the lower classes in line. If the law were to be applied equally to all, fines would be a percentage of your gross income as reported by the IRS.
