A few ban-happy,power tripping moderators did come over here, though. I don’t have specifics on that, I just know I’ve seen them, and I’ve also been banned for some real dumb shit. I just stay away from those communities/instances.

There are different types of people in the market. The informed ones hate AI, and the uninformed love it. The informed ones tend to be the cornerstones of businesses, and the uninformed ones tend to be in charge.

Just because people may be suffering more elsewhere, doesn’t mean we don’t have a right to be frustrated by our current systems. This is especially true in a society that allows absurdities like billionaires to exist.
I’d argue we peaked between 25 and 50 years ago, and now we’re sliding back down the hill.
