Nah, it was a last-minute gift for her mom, and my wife didn’t want to go empty-handed. The bad guys won that day.
My wife bought a Keurig coffee maker on Amazon for a Christmas gift. When it arrived, the box was mailed directly from JCPenny.com. I looked on their website and the coffee maker was $35 cheaper. We learned our lessons about dropshipping and only looking at Amazon for products.

It’s crazy. I loved Digg until I had to go to Reddit to get the experience I loved once Digg began it’s enshitification. Now that Reddit is experiencing enshitification, I’m coming here. I hope this is the next iteration of the pure experience that I’m looking for.
I saw a r/YSK (You Should Know) post about Lemmy today and was curious and had some time . I’m intrigued.
I’ll just say, the more I hang around Lemmy, the more I enjoy the genuine conversations. It feels like less snark, less joke replies, and just a generally more community-type feeling. Reminds me of when I first tried Reddit after leaving Digg way back when.
Hopefully, us exiles can leave the Reddit back at Reddit.
