The drama I dont want is power tripping developers of Lemmy telling end users (us) what we can/can’t post using the software.

Also India is a big country. There’s a lot of competition. During 2022 when we were hiring by the butt load, I interviewed a bunch of devs who were fired from other tech companies. Most of the applicants were indians and many even outright told me that they used to work 70-100 hours in their last job and wouldn’t have a problem doing that if they were hired.

All it takes is your favorite company to suddenly be run by a CEO who wants to maximize profits or increase shareholder value, or worse, think they’re God’s Gift to the World. Or in the flip side, they’re fighting for survival so they have to make scummy decisions to keep afloat.
