I’ve been indulging in a lot of Electric Callboy lately. They did have a single release, Elevator Operator a few weeks ago but I’ve also been enjoying their collab with Babymetal from last year called RATATATA (couldn’t find a YT link).

Just try to compliment “like a girl” - a simple “Hey I love your scarf! The pattern is awesome” is much calmer than sounding like a runway commentator lol. Only further engage if the other person further engages. This goes for all genders!

I know you’re mostly joking but from what I understand it’s this:

True crime: tries to answer the “why” and there’s the invisible carrot of “justice” that you hope to get in the end. Unsolved mysteries leave you with a crack itch of thinking you can “figure it out,” like a puzzle.

Gore horror: no “why,” no “justice,” no puzzle, just a brutal description of human suffering. There’s no closure.

That’s just my hypothesis though ¯\(ツ)/¯
