IDK, police may start a riot. I think this regime is itching for riots. They’re already considering invoking the Insurrection Act. And them so blatantly going after Medicaid, SNAP, and Social Security, doesn’t make much sense to me unless they want civil unrest. let them invoke the insurrection act. they will call on the military to quell it. that could be this administration’s last act. i’m not sure the military would act on those orders and it might just be what starts the coup that takes him out of power.

I agree with most of what you said. I didn’t say that peaceful protesting was the most effective method or that the fascists would care about signs. The connotation of the above comment is why I called it rage bait. There are ways to express an idea without baiting an emotional reaction.
As for peaceful protests being ineffective, revolutions can’t be successful from one single type of protest or action. The point is that people are speaking their voice as is their right and they’re showing up in numbers. We can work together without having perfectly aligned ideals. Reduce the divisive noise amongst ourselves and let’s work together to save this country’s people.
