People are traveling to DC on April 5th for a big anti-Trump protest led by multiple protest organizations. They are even planning out busses and such. It will be the biggest protest so far compared to the previous ones we had. If you want to join in, see if you can go to DC, or go to your local state capitol and protest. https://handsoff2025.com/

All you putinists and trumpist bots trying to sabotage protests and anti-government discourse is evidence that it is working.

IDK, police may start a riot. I think this regime is itching for riots. They’re already considering invoking the Insurrection Act. And them so blatantly going after Medicaid, SNAP, and Social Security, doesn’t make much sense to me unless they want civil unrest. I suppose it could be part of a plan to crash the economy, but that would cause unrest too.

let them invoke the insurrection act. they will call on the military to quell it. that could be this administration’s last act. i’m not sure the military would act on those orders and it might just be what starts the coup that takes him out of power.

or not. they might start firing on civilians. at least we’d know where we’re at and could react accordingly.

but you cannot continue to think that civil unrest is going to accomplish anything. it’s a war. it always has been.

It’s not rage bait to say that doing things that can be easily ignored is ineffective.

Unless he said somewhere that he would resign if enough protesters came out. But i don’t think fascists care about signs historically.

The Neolibs have poisoned our minds into thinking only peaceful protest is acceptable, because its ineffective

I agree with most of what you said. I didn’t say that peaceful protesting was the most effective method or that the fascists would care about signs. The connotation of the above comment is why I called it rage bait. There are ways to express an idea without baiting an emotional reaction.

As for peaceful protests being ineffective, revolutions can’t be successful from one single type of protest or action. The point is that people are speaking their voice as is their right and they’re showing up in numbers. We can work together without having perfectly aligned ideals. Reduce the divisive noise amongst ourselves and let’s work together to save this country’s people.
