I’m from the north of Germany originally and I like Denmark / Sweden best.
It’s interesting how much some Germans love to travel to Sweden. If you have’t already you should definitely visit Gotland and Stora Karlsö. For me it’s the closest feeling you get to being abroad while still being in Sweden.
Nice, I haven’t been to Gotland yet, thanks for the tip! I think my brother is planning to go on his way to Norway this summer, iirc.
I love to travel in Europe. They all have their special place in my heart.
The fantastic beer and variations across countries. The architecture and languages. The varied cuisine 👩🍳👨🍳 Bikes, weed and shrooms ❤️ 🇳🇱 Bathing and chilling in the sun. Everywhere is pretty much safe (some exceptions, but in general). The gorgeous rural areas. Wine. People are generally really friendly. People say that Germans and French people don’t speak English to them, but that is not my experience, I have yet to meet a single European not go out of their way to help and be nice to me. Some have been in a hurry, but are still nice. Most people tend to appreciate the interest in their culture, their recommendations and their opinions.
I love you all, my fellow Europeans ❤️🇪🇺🇳🇴
As a “Northerner”, I have always enjoyed visiting the “Southerners” and what’s in between :D
ad a Southerner I love to travel around the Northerners. wanna swap home for a couple weeks? :p
As an Austrian: Italy…but I’m a foodie too. For some reason, I also love the Baltics…amazing craft beers in Estonia.
You just have to climb a mountain and you are already there! So lucky!
Let me just use this opportunity to say, that if I had to pick a place to live in Europe, I would pick Austria <3
