The Republicans’ plans to gut social security is literally THE action that is most likely to turn moderates and Republicans against Trump and Musk. Millions of older Americans rely on social security as their main source of income.

I worry that 50501 is too geared around Discord and Reddit and run by young people and thus might not be as tuned into how important this issue is for anyone 40 and older (people saving for retirement or retired).

I recommend that the organization has a protest plan ready to go. If the Republicans announce a plan to gut social security, nationwide protests must happen IMMEDIATELY, no waiting. And you must have a team in place that is ready to reach out to older folks where they are: on Facebook. People WILL be in the streets about this, because they rely on that money to live.
