Their phone number is in the image.
I’ve been sending messages to the New York Times tip hotline too to coverprotests. I told them I would unsubscribe if they don’t start covering, and that we would put out a call for mass unsubscribing.
New York Times is fairly liberal, hopefully can get them to cover more but media outlets are also on edge from Trump’s lawsuits.

(mgcs9j3)That’s good. One of my local news outlets has had coverage of protests on their website every day for weeks now. (WTOP, a news/traffic radio station in the greater DC area.)
My local newspaper hasn’t had quite as much protest coverage, but today’s headline article is about how tariffs are going to harm local farmers, how corn futures are down, how we saw 75% reduction in soy exports to China the last time Trump tried this, etc. The other day they had an article talking to a local Trump voter who lost his federal job and was now regretting his vote.

(mgcopjd)NYT DGAF sadly. They’d rather platform that a**hole Yarvin than actually do their jobs and report the news.

But I defo commend you OP for trying.

(mgc6sf8)This is good, but if you aren’t alread you should also be ensuring that they receive tips/ press releases BEFORE the protests happen. I don’t doubt many of these media sources are are choosing not to cover protests, but also they can’t cover something very effectively if they don’t know it’s happening in time to send photographers and reporters.
If you know of or are organizing protests or other actions in your area-- make sure you tell local news sources about it beforehand! It’s another great tool to spread awareness. Some may still choose not to cover them, but some will.

(mgc20kj)Thank you! They did cover the Vermont protest in yesterday’s issue (Sugarbush Reporter Was Not Fired for Viral JD Vance-Related Snow Update - The New York Times). Agree they need to step up their coverage. Hopefully they cover Tuesday’s protests soon…
